This industry party celebrates the release of Gifty Singh's first independent album Lovestreet. In everything Gifty does, he strives to be creative, unconventional and elegant. Thus, it's no surprise he's not simply putting on a release party, rather a classy celebration. The party will feature a fashion show by Patent Magazine designs by Reese.

HAPPY TURKEY DAY! PT 1

Yeah, I had too! Happy Thanksgiving Sunday! Hope you're all enjoying your long weekends! Don't eat too much turkey and stuffing!

So, I was at the GOTrain station yesterday evening and I saw somebody with a bag that looked like this laptop bag (right) and I thought "oh that would be really nice for school in January. As the guy came closer, I realized that it wasn't Gucci, but GUESS. I thought to myself, if it's illegal for people to sell the imitations that you find in China Town in Toronto or Canal in New York, why can a huge retailer like Guess copy? I couldn't find a picture of the bag, but let's compare the shoes for example (left). The top pair is Guess, while the bottom pair is Gucci. Other then perhaps shade differences, and the symbols being different, the pattern and style are exactly alike. I found that so tacky of Guess to have copied, considering imitations get such a bad name.

What do you guys think? Do you think this should be allowed, do you like the Guess version?

So is it just me who is totally stoked on Justin Bobby bringing back the dirt bag? He just gained 10 more brownie points in my book, fuck he is so attractive. If every boy looked like him, I would have to stay single for LIFE.




So as I was googling him to feed my addiction for JB, I stumbled across this. Now it's probably not anything new to anyone that MTV's The Hills is scripted, and I'm sure you've all seen this picture but I just came across it and it just boggles my mind. I'm still not TOO into Kristin, she still hasn't proved to me that she's grown out of her High School ways. What am I saying? She probably has The Hills is scripted DUHHH. Whatever she makes me mad, no matter how hot she is. And now that she's stolen my man, she isn't doing good on my list.

Tomorrow (well technically today, Monday) will be my first time writing under Patent Online Mag's blog, please do NOT forget to check them out on blogspot and on their website. Serious Retail Therapy

Tried to fix my shitty mood with the help of my mother and some seriously retail therapy. Unfortunately it didn't really work, but I did end up with some great finds. Picked up my Dr.Marten's finally! I wasn't to keen on the lace ones, but after trying them on I realized how they gave the boot a girly touch, LOVES THEM! I also finally picked up a light was jean vest which I intend on jazzing up with some studs, and a cute Faux Fur jacket! I honestly LOVE thrift shopping!


Hope everyones weekend went better then mine. My boyfriend and I have "gone on a break" and I've been a total mess all weekend, wont lie. We all know what that usually means. Give me some good cheering up tips! Have a good work/school week and don't forget to keep it cute.

Took me a good week..

Before I found a job. I am now employed with Danier Leather! Congrads to me! This should be fun, I hope! So I start Tuesday, which means I have the whole weekend to party it up before I start my new responsibility.
